Winston Lensworth Shaw, 42 of Port Saint Lucie, FL died at his residence. He was born in Spanish Town, Jamaica to the parents of Roy Shaw and Elaine Oates. He has been a resident of Port Saint Lucie for 17 years moving from New York. He attended school in Jamaica, and graduated from Taft High School in New York in the Class of 1985. Mr. Shaw also attended Miami Dade College for two years and majored in Business Administration. He was formerly employed as a telemarketer. Winston worshipped with his family at New Testament Faith Center in Port Saint Lucie. Winston is survived by: his loving wife of 21 ys., Orchid Foster Shaw of Port Saint Lucie; a son, Tevaris Shaw of Port Saint Lucie; 3 daughters, Aleesa Shaw of Tampa, FL, Nakisha Shaw and Crystal Shaw of Port Saint Lucie; his mother, Elaine Oates of Fort Pierce, FL; 6 brothers, Kenneth Gocool of Orlando, FL, Hugh Gocool of Jamaica, WI, Garth Gocool of Cayman Islands, Warren Oates of Jacksonville, FL, Linton Spencer of New Jersey and Noel Shaw of Miami, FL; 5 sisters, Marie Bell of New York, Annette Cesar of Fort Pierce, FL, Camille Hammond of New York, Gloria Stewart of Jamaica, WI and Marvalin Ashley of New York; a loving mother-in-law, Agatha Spence of Port Saint Lucie; sister-in-law, Indola Moore of Port Saint Lucie; brother-in-law, Kevin Spence of Riverview, FL; and a host of other relatives, in-laws and friends who will miss him. Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 12, 2009 from 4pm-5pm at New Testament Faith Center in Port Saint Lucie. A "Celebration of Life" will begin at 5pm at the church. Cremation will follow. Arrangements have been entrusted to Thorne's Mortuary, Inc. of Stuart, FL.
