Willie Albert Miller, 82 of Fort Pierce, FL, went home to be with the Lord at Lawnwood Regional Medical Center in Fort Pierce. A resident of Fort Pierce FL for over 50 years, he was born in Valdosta, GA on December 25, 1928, and was educated in the public schools of Lowndes County, GA. While living in Fort Pierce, he was self-employed and the owner of PM Trucking for 30 years. He was a member of St. Mark Missionary Baptist Church in Fort Pierce and served as a deacon on the Deacon Board. Willie was preceded in death by: his parents, Ellis and Martha Miller; his sons, Steven Albert Miller and Leon L. Wright and brothers, William, Jack, Junior and Willie James Miller. Survivors include: his wife, Pender Miller of Fort Pierce; 3 sons, Willie Albert Miller, Jr. of Brunswick, GA, Willie Clayton Miller of Monticello, FL and Marvin Thompson of Hattiesburg, MS; 7 daughters, Anne Miller of Brunswick, GA, Willie Mae Brown of Fort Pierce, FL, Janice Miller of Rochester, NY, Rosetta Miller of Ocala, FL, Phyllis Thompson of Charleston, SC, Leigh Johnson of Hercules, CA and Valeria Thompson of Fort Pierce, FL; 30 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers, Lennis and Raymond Miller of Brunswick, GA; 2 sisters, Isabelle Miller of Brunswick, GA and Lillie Bell Bess of Rochester, NY. Services: Visitation will be held on Friday, December 2, 2011 from 4pm-7pm at Saint Mark Missionary Baptist Church in Fort Pierce, FL. A homegoing celebration will be held on Saturday, December 3, 2011, 11:00am at the church. Burial will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery in Fort Pierce, FL.
