Willie Emanuel, 86 of Stuart, FL passed away peacefully at his home, surrounded by the love of his caring family. He was born in Bainbridge, GA to the parents of the late Will Emanuel and Emma Locket Emanuel. He moved to Stuart, FL from Blountstown, FL over 52 years ago. Willie was employed during his lifetime as a floor manager for a printing company and worshipped at Mt. Calvary Missionary Baptist Church in Stuart. Along with his parents, he was also preceded in death by brothers, Clifford, Rohavy and Josh Emanuel; sisters, Mattie Emanuel, Queenie Johnson, Oree Jackson, Ethel Tyson and Pearl Moore. Survivors include: 4 sons, Willie Earl Emanuel of Baltimore, MD, Frederick Emanuel of Stuart, FL, Richard Emanuel of West Palm Beach, FL and Stefon Battle (Michelle) of Temple, GA; 4 daughters, Ruthie Emanuel Sandifer (John) of Stuart, FL, Alliene Davis (Perry) of West Palm Beach, FL, Pamela Plummer (Daniel) of Jacksonville, FL and Emma Jean Smith of Jonesboro, GA; 17 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren: 2 brothers, Oscar Emanuel (Ella Mae) of West Palm Beach, FL and Charles Emanuel (Ruby) of Melbourne, FL; 2 sisters, Florence Emanuel Betts of Fort Pierce, FL and Daisy Emanuel Baker of Sneed, FL; daughter-in-law, Joyce Emanuel of Port St. Lucie FL; sister-in-law, Earlene Emanuel of Melbourne, FL; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Services: Visitation will be held on Friday, November 19, 2010 from 4pm-7pm at Thorne's Mortuary Chapel in Stuart, FL. A celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, 6pm at the chapel with Bro.
