Obituary for Wallace Jefferson III

Mr. Wallace Jefferson III, of Wabasso, FL passed away today on his 59th birthday at his home, surrounded by the love and tears of his loving family. He was born in Vero Beach, FL to the parents of the late Bishop Wallace Jefferson Jr. and Mother Mary Alice (Holland) Jefferson.  He was educated in the public schools of Indian River County including Vero Beach High School. Wallace was a self-employed mason and he was of the Protestant faith. Along with his father, Bishop Wallace Jefferson Jr., he was also preceded in death by a brother, Michael Anthony Jefferson; paternal grandparents, Wallace Jefferson Sr., and Mother Evergreen Jefferson; maternal grandparents, Carrie Lee Holland, Johnny Holland and Jimmy Roberts and Lillie Mae Roberts). He leaves behind to cherish his precious memories: his wife, Susan Ann Jefferson of Vero Beach, FL; 2 sons, Joseph Stephen Fournier of Fellsmere, FL and Noah Heaton Fournier of Vero Beach, FL; 2 daughters, Mary Ann Fournier of Gainsville, FL and Loriann Samantha DeMello of Melbourne, FL; his canine son, Too Sweet Tiny Jefferson of Vero Beach, FL; a devoted mother, Mary Alice Jefferson of Vero Beach, FL; 6 brothers, Henry H. Jefferson (Jody) of Williston, NC, Tony M. Jefferson (Dannette) of Port Salerno, FL, Reverend Lorenzo D. Jefferson (Michalene), and Jerome B. Jefferson of Vero Beach, FL, Dennis L. Jefferson of Sebastian, FL and Christopher A. Jefferson of Vero Beach, FL; an only sister, Pamela Ann Carter (Kenneth) of Sebastian, FL;  host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends who will miss him dearly. Services: Visitation will be held on Friday, April 14, 2017 from 5pm-7pm at the Wabasso Church of God.  A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 15, 2017, 11am at the church with his brother the Reverend Lorenzo B. Jefferson officiating and Bishop John A. Thorne is pastor. Burial will follow at West Wabasso Cemetery, Wabasso, FL. Arrangements have been entrusted into the care of Thorne's Mortuary in Stuart, FL.
