Obituary for Violet Wilson

Violet Wilson, 94 of Stuart, FL went home to be with the Lord on July 13, 2020 at Solaris Healthcare Parkway Nursing Home in Stuart, FL.

She was born in Keywest, FL to the parents of the late Percy and Margaret Minnis. Her early education was in the public schools of Key West.

Ms. Wilson has been of resident of Stuart for 7 years coming from Tampa, FL. She was married to the late Woodrow Wilson and she was the mother of 14 children. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and was a member of the Lake Street Church of Christ, under the leadership of Minister Henry McFadden.

Along with her parents, Percy and Margaret Minnis, and her husband, Woodrow Wilson, she was also preceded in death by a son and her siblings (names to follow).

She is lovingly survived by: 2 sons, Percy Wilson, Sr. (Lue Edna) of Stuart, FL and Henry Lee Wilson of Tampa, FL; 4 daughters, Viola Carter of Tampa, FL, Margaret Pearson, Shirley Ann Wilson and Mary A. Wilson, all of Stuart, FL; 18 granchildren, 82 great-grandchildren and 75 great-great-grandchildren and an unknown number of great-great-geat-grandchildren; a host nieces, one nephew, a host of great-nieces and great nephews, cousins and friends who will miss her dearly.

Arrangements have been entrusted into the care of Thorne's Mortuary, Inc. in Stuart, FL.
