He was born to the parents of George Smith and Iradean Leonard in Stuart, FL. He attended the public schools of Martin County and was married to, Ada Latasha Warren-Smith. They were members of St. Paul A.M.E. Church in Stuart. Vincent was employed as a landscaper in Stuart. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Elizabeth Straughter and James Straughter, Sr. and one uncle Robert Straughter. He is survived by: a wife , Ada Latasha Warren-Smith of Stuart, FL; a son , Vincent LeVerne Smith, Jr. of West Palm Beach, FL; a daughter , Shakicia Warren of Stuart, FL; and stepdaughter , Kenia Coats of Fort Pierce, FL; his mother , Iradean Leonard and father who raised him, Johnny Leonard, Sr. of Hobe Sound, FL; biological father , George Smith of Hobe Sound, FL; mother-in-law , Betty Carter of Stuart, FL; brothers , Edwin "Poo" Straughter, Johnny "Lonza" Leonard both of Hobe Sound, FL; Johnny "J.J." Leonard of Stuart, FL, Johnny Eno of New York; sisters Melinda Leonard of Hobe Sound, FL, Tanisha Leonard of West Palm Beach, FL, Martessa Miller of Hobe Sound, FL and LaVonjia Davis of Donaldsonville, GA; 6 grandchildren , Dennis Palmer, Jr., Sha'coriyah McCoy, David Fitzgerald Jr., Davion Fitzgerald, Denord Fitzgerald and Sincere Vincent Allen; one aunt , Glory Lawson (John) of Stuart, FL; and a host of  uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends. Services: Visitation will be held on Friday, July 13, 2018 from 5pm-7pm at Thorne's Mortuary Chapel in Stuart. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, July 14, 2018 - 2pm at St. Paul A.M.E. Church in Stuart, FL - 900 SE East Avenue, 34994. Burial will follow in Florida Memorial Cemetery, Hobe, FL. Arrangements have been entrusted into the care of Thorne's Mortuary in Stuart, FL.
