Vernon Kenith Monroe, 62 of Vero Beach, FL transitioned from this life peacefully, early Saturday morning, surrounded by the love and tears of his caring family.
He was born to the parents of the late Pearl Douglas and Pete Ethridge on February 24, 1959 in Indian River County.
"Kenith" as he was affectionately known to his family and friends, attended the public schools of Indian River County and he graduated from Vero Beach High School.
Along with his parents, Vernon Kenith Monroe was also preceded in death by: a sister, Annie Pearl Monroe, brother-in-law, Daniel Mortimer and others.
Remaining behind to cherish his precious memories are: his children (2 daughters and a son), Kimberly Neely, Takeshy Monroe and Terrance Skinner, all of Cocoa, FL; 2 brothers, John Monroe (Veronsie) and Bonza Monroe (Debra); 2 sisters, Annie Doris Jones and Christine Monroe Mortimer; 7 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who will miss him dearly.
Arrangements have been entrusted into the care of Thorne's Mortuary in Stuart, FL.
