Obituary for Ulma Elaine Stubbs

Ms. Ulma Elaine Stubbs, 58 Hollywood, FL Passed away peacefully at St. Lucie Medical Center in Port St. Lucie, FL on Wednesday, January 29, 2020.

She was born to the parents of John Stubbs and Ruby Hall in Turks and Caicos Island, on May 13, 1961. Ulma was educated in the schools of the Bahamas and has been a resident of Florida for over 40 years. She was also a naturalized citizen of the United States.

Before her illness, she was employed in area hospitals as a certified nursing assistant.

Remaining to cherish her sweet and precious memories are: a son, Levonte Stubbs of Port St. Lucie, FL; her mother, Ruby Hall of Hollywood, FL; her father, John Stubbs (Ruth) of Stuart, FL; 3 brothers, Dwight Jennings (Melvern), Lyden Hall (Janet) both of Freeport Bahamas and Christopher Stubbs (Wynter) of Atlanta, GA; 4 sisters, Mary Jennings of Hallandale, FL Vernita Miller (Gary) of Hollywood, FL, Shornell Duncan (Donald) of Port St. Lucie, FL and Sabrina Smith (Dwight) of Jacksonville, FL; and a host of other relatives including, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, church family and friend both in Florida and the Bahamas who will miss her dearly.

Burial will follow at Hallandale Beach Cemetery in Hallandale Beach, FL.

Arrangements have been entrusted into the care of Thorne's Mortuary in Stuart, FL.
