Mr. Troy Rich,Sr. 82 , of Hobe Sound, FL went home to be with the Lord at Treasure Coast Hospice-Hay Madeira House in Stuart, FL. He was born in Milton, FL to the late Elmer Rich and Sylvia Berrian-Rich. At a young age He and his family moved to the Hobe Sound Community where he received his primary education. Mr. Rich was a member of Mt Olive Missionary Baptist Church in West Palm Beach, Fl serving as an usher in the church under the leadership of,Pastor Arthur Evans. He often attended the New Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Hobe Sound where he enjoyed fellowshipping with other family members and friends. His memory will always be cherished in the hearts of his loving family. Survivors include: 3 sons, Troy Rich, Jr. and Daniel Rich, Sr. both of Hobe Sound, and Josinda "JoJo" Holland of Austell, GA; 3 daughters, Kimberly Rich of Tallahassee, FL, Summa Holland of Stuart,FL and Ebony Collins of Austell,GA; 2 sisters, Carrie Butler of Hobe Sound,FL and Shirley Trazavant of Tampa,FL; 11 Grandchildren a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. Services: Visitation will be held on Friday November 7,2014 from 5 to 7PM at Thorne's Mortuary Chapel. A service of Celebration will be held Saturday November 8,2014 at 2PM at New Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church, Hobe Sound,FL Burial will follow at Banner Lake Cemetery, Hobe Sound, FL Arrangements have been entrusted into the care of Thorne's Mortuary in Stuart,FL.
