Mr. Terry Lee Smith, Sr. 61, f Vero Beach, FL passed away at his home, surrounded by the love of his family on Saturday, February 15, 2020.

He was born to the parents of the late Mattie Ree London and Recy Smith in Vero Beach on September 7, 1958. He attended the public schools of Indian River County. Terry accepted the Lord in 2019.

During his lifetime he was employed with McCullers Well Drilling and Reliable Well Drilling or many years. Terry was one of the best experienced well drillers in Indian River County in both residential and industrial drilling. He was the father of one son, the late Terry Lee Smith, Jr. who passed away on January 3, 2020 whom he loved immensely. Terry Sr. was kind, loving and helpful to everyone who knew him.

Along with his son, he was also preceded in death by: his mother, Mattie Ree London; a brother, LeartisShedrick and a sister, Frankie Mae Cervin.

He leaves behind to cherish his precious memories are: a loving wife, Charlelayne Smith of Vero Beach, FL; his father, Recy Smith of St. Petersburg, FL; 3 brothers, Franklin D. Shedrick (Iris) of Palm Bay, FL, Joel Shedrick (Gloria) of St. Petersburg, FL and Johnnie Shedrick of Wabasso, FL; 5 devoted sisters, Kathleen Ross-Freeze (Bishop G. Samuel) of Vero Beach, FL, Lottie Johnson of St. Petersburg, FL, Gloria Petithomme (Roger) and Cietrus Dawkins (Terry) both of Wabasso, FL and Olivia Bradshaw of Sebastian, FL.

A host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who will miss him dearly.
