Ms. Syreeta Lianetta Johnson, 46 of Okeechobee, FL went home to be with the Lord on December 13, 2016 at Lawnwood Regional Medical Center in Fort Pierce, FL. She was born in Fort Pierce, FL to the parents of Shirley Johnson Aiken and Daniel Johnson on October 2, 1970. She was reared in Okeechobee, FL and educated in the public schools of Okeechobee County.  Syreeta attended Okeechobee High School and graduated from Springstead High School (Spring Hill, FL) in the Class of 1987. She was a member of First Missionary Baptist Church in Okeechobee and sang in the Intermediate Choir and was employed in the fast food industry. Syreeta was preceded in death by a brother, Boris M. Robinson; her maternal and paternal grandparents, R.C. & Smiley Robinson and Arthur & Relusta Johnson; and her aunt, Castella Harp. She leaves behind to forever cherish her sweet and precious memories: 1 son, Cornelius M. Merriweather; 2 daughters, Chase A. Cunningham and Veandrea Mayes; her mother, Shirley Johnson-Aiken (Alonzo); her father, Daniel L. Johnson, all of Okeechobee, FL; 1 brother, Daniel R. Johnson of Tampa, FL; a half sister, Anyah Johnson of Okeechobee, FL; 1 granddaughter, Kerrie Cooper of Okeechobee, FL; nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who will miss her dearly. Services:  Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 22, 2016 at First Missionary Baptist Church, 909 NW 9th Street in Okeechobee, FL  34972 from 5pm-7pm.  A celebration of life will be held on Friday, December 23, 2016, 12 o'clock noon at the church with the pastor, Reverend Leroy B. Smith officiating.  Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Okeechobee. Arrangements have been entrusted into the care of Thorne's Mortuary in Stuart, FL.
