Obituary for Samuel Taylor Hill, Jr.

Samuel Taylor Hill Jr., was born August 13, 1963 in Colquitt County, Georgia to Verdia Banks Hill and the late Samuel Taylor Hill, Sr.

He grew up and attended school in Palm Beach County, Florida where he graduated from Palm Beach Gardens High School.  Samuel was employed by Avis Rental Car for many years where he retired and went on to open his own restaurant.

Samuel, aka “Tim”, loved his family and friends. He had a zest for cooking and he had the best ribs in town. He would marinate them 24 hours before he would cook them, and he even created a special sauce for his ribs. His garlic potatoes was the bomb.

He loved repairing boats, and once cut a canoe in half, put an electric motor on it and made a boat for his sons. He also built an 11ft racing boat for his sons with a 35 horsepower mercury engine. This was their first real boat. He also purchased a 45Ft yacht from Jack Nicholas, the famous golfer.  Samuel was gifted to fix anything that had to with electronics.

Samuel leaves to cherish his memories and celebrate his home going: a loving wife, Carol White Hill; his mom, Verdia Hill; mother-in-law, Estelle White; children, two sons , Thomas (Jada) and Tarryl; one daughter, Rekeisha Railey Wynds; eight grandchildren, Arianna O.
