Samuel Delancy, of Stuart, FL passed away at Hospice Madeira House in Stuart. He was born to the parents of the late Albenia and Williams Delancy in Martin County, Florida. Before retirement he was employed as a grounds keeper. Survivors include: a sister, Victoria Smith of the Bahamas; nieces, Juanita Lumpkin (Robert), College Park, GA, Corrine Robinson, Boynton Beach, FL, Janice Delancy, Stuart, FL and Victoria Singleton (Harold) of Jensen Beach, FL, including a host of other nieces, nephews and cousins. Services: Visitation will be held on Friday, December 3, 2010 from 5pm-7pm at Thorne's Mortuary Chapel in Stuart, FL. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 4, 2010 at 7pm at the chapel with Reverend Calvin Delancy officiating.
