Obituary for Rosa Maria Maldonado

Ms. Rosa Maria Maldonado , 51 of Indiantown, FL and a citizen of the United States, quietly passed away on Saturday, December 9, 2017 at Martin Memorial Health Systems-North in Stuart, FL. She was born in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico to the parents of Gueillermina Quintero and the late Mateo Maldonado. At an early age she moved to Florida with her family and has lived in Lake Worth and Pompano Beach before relocating to Indiantown, FL. Rosa graduated from South Fork High School. Along with being a home maker she has also worked in the citrus industry in the groves of Indiantown. Always fun-loving, happy-go-lucky and will to assist anyone who may have needed her, Rosa will forever be missed by those who knew and loved her. She was preceded in death by her father, Mateo Maldonado and her precious grandson, "Danilo Rosado" (who passed away on July 11, 2016. Rosa Maria Maldonado is survived by her companion , Cameron Simmons; 2 daughters , Yacenia Maldonado and Daniella Rosado; a son , Anibal Maldonado; her mother , Guillermina Quintero; 4 sisters , Altagracia Maldonado of Vero Beach, FL, Nicholas Molina and Felicita Molina of Indiantown, FL, and Carmen Maldonado of Stuart, FL; 2 brothers , George Maldonado and Juan Maldonado of Indiantown, FL; 4 grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends including her best friend, Tawan Stewart of Indiantown, FL. Services: Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 16, 2017 from 10am until 11am at Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church 14789 SW Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive in Indiantown, with A Service of Celebration and Love to begin at 11am, with Minister Lorenzo Drayton officiating. Burial will follow at Port Mayaca Memorial Gardens in Canal Point, FL. Arrangements have been entrusted into the care of Thorne's Mortuary, Inc. in Stuart, FL (772) 223-0900.
