Rosa M. Chappelle, 59 of Stuart, FL went home to be with the Lord at Kendall Regional Medical Center in Miami, FL. She was born in Kingstree, SC to the parents of the late John Witherspoon and the late Lessie Mae McFadden-Witherspoon. Rosa completed her primary education in the public schools of Palm Beach County and graduated from Palm Beach Lakes High School in the Class of 1975. Rosa was a member and co-pastor of Love Lifted Me Church, Inc. in Stuart, FL. She was a loving individual who enjoyed singing as well ministering to anyone who would listen. Rosa will forever be remembered for the beautiful smile and calm demeanor. Along with her parents, she was also preceded in death by a brother, Joe Edward McFadden. She leaves behind, to treasure precious memories: her husband, Reginald Chappelle, Sr. of Stuart, FL; 4 sons, Reginald Chappelle, Jr. (Latrese) and Andre' L. Chappelle of West Palm Beach, FL, Paul Chappelle (Crystal) of Tampa, FL and Michael Chappelle of Stuart, FL; 2 daughters, Alicia Chappelle and Ashley Chappelle of Stuart, FL; a brother, John Witherspoon, Jr. of Stuart, FL; 3 sisters, Maxine Haston (Henry), Queen Witherspoon and Pastor Ella Williams Pace (Tim), all of Stuart, FL; 8 grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, church family and friends. Services: Visitation will be Friday November 21 at: New Mt Zion Missionary Baptist Church 8224 SE Pettway Street-Hobe Sound,FL. A homegoing celebration will be held on Saturday, November 22, 2014, 11am at New Allen Temple AME Church 8620 Comus Avenue Hobe Sound, FL. She will await the resurrection at Banner Lake Cemetery in Hobe Sound, FL. Arrangements have been entrusted into the care of Thorne's Mortuary in Stuart, FL.
