Reginald Deon Franklin, 19, of Stuart, FL died in Jacksonville, FL on March 29, 2009. He was born in Stuart, FL to the parents of Carlette Hazelton Franklin and Willie Franklin. "Reggie" attended the public schools of Martin County and graduated from the Martin County School District High School on May 5, 2007. "Reggie" was preceded in death by a sister, Quiania A. Franklin. He is survived by his mother, Carlette Hazelton Franklin and father, Willie Franklin of Stuart, FL; brothers, Ryan Carter of Orlando, FL, Willie Franklin and Jermaine Whitty of Stuart, FL, and Antonio Lesesne of Ft. Pierce, FL; sisters, Deidra Whitty of Stuart, FL, Sherry Franklin, Kizzie Franklin and Gwendolyn Franklin of Ft. Pierce, FL; paternal grandparents, Willie J. and Grace Franklin, and Cornelia and Donald Deboles; paternal great-grandmother, Ollie Franklin; uncles, Sirlania Hazelton (Ruth) , Reginald Franklin, Derrick Franklin, Bernard Deboles (Keysha), Timothy Whitty and William Hazelton (Rhonda); aunts, Audrey Brooks, Jennifer Whitty, Gloria Whitty and Nathalie Sparrow; a very special aunt, Willa Mae Hazelton; a host of other relatives and friends. Services: Visitation will be held on Friday, April 3, 2009 from 5-7pm at Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church in Stuart. "A Celebration of Life" will be held on Saturday, April 4, 2009 at 12:00 o'clock noon at Saint Paul A.M.E. Church in Stuart where the Reverend James Watson is pastor and the Reverend L.D. Andrews, pastor of Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church will be officiating. Burial will follow at Fernhill Memorial Gardens in Stuart. Thorne's Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
