Obituary for Phaion Cecil Davis Sr.

Phaion Cecil Davis, Sr., 55 of Indiantown, FL passed away on Sunday, April 30, 2017. He was born in Pahokee, FL to the parents of the late Nathaniel and Lura Mae Moore Davis. "Yabby", as he was affectionately known to family and friends, was educated in the public schools of Palm Beach and Martin County. He also completed a year of college. He was very friendly, generous and had a wonderful sense of humor. During his lifetime, he was employed as a furniture mover and was a well known DJ throught South Florida. Along with his parents, Nathaniel and Lura Mae Davis, he was also preceded in death by a sister, Winifred Davis Charles (Jean). Remaining behind to cherish his precious memories are: 2 sons, Phaion Davis, Jr., and Miles Davis; his companion, Kimberley Jackson, all of Indiantown, FL; a step-daughter, Ja'Terrya Singleton (Reverend R.J.) of Leesburgh, FL; 2 step-sons, Eddie Agosto of Port Salerno, FL and Tyquan Welch of Indiantown, FL; 3 aunts, Alzaida Jones(Jonathan) of Douglas, GA, Commissioner Clara "Tasha" Murvin (Bernard) of Pahokee, FL and Sabrina Green (Mark) of Royal Palm Beach, FL; an uncle, Nathaniel Davis, Jr. (Tachia) of Orlando, FL; a special niece, Dyamond Simone Charles; and other relatives including nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who will miss him dearly. Services: Visitation to be announced. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 13, 2017. 11am. Church to be announced. Burial will be held at Port Mayaca Cemetery in Canal Point. Arrangements have been entrusted into the care of Thorne's Mortuary in Stuart, FL.
