Obituary for Pearl E. McClain-Hudson Minister

Minister Pearl E. McClain-Hudson was born to the late James and Willie Mae McClain in Hobe Sound, Florida on January 31, 1943.  She is the fifth child of eighteen children. Minister Hudson was the proud wife of Mr. James Hudson for fifty-seven years and this union was blessed with five children, four girls, and one boy. During her lifetime, she graduated from Norwalk Community College and retired from the Child Care Learning Center of Stamford. She made her triumphant transition to glory on April 18, 2019, at her residence, surrounded by her loved ones. She leaves to cherish her loving memory and powerful legacy: her husband, James Hudson; her children, Keith Hudson, Karen Campbell (Johnny), Karla Ancrum (Robert), Kristy Hudson, and Kimberly Hudson; her sisters, Prophetess Hazel Bernard, Margaret Palmer, and Sharon McFadden (Norman); her brothers, Pastor Charlie McClain (Brenda), Robert McClain, and Allen McClain; sisters-in-law, Margaret McClain, Francis McClain, and Elizabeth McClain; brother-in-law, Willie Cooksey; 10 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, church family, neighbors and friends who will miss her dearly. Services: Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 27, 2019 from 9:30am-10:30am at Thorne's Mortuary Chapel in Stuart, FL.  A Homegoing Celebration will begin at 10:30am with her brother Pastor Charlie McClain, officiating.  She will await the resurrection at Florida Memorial Cemetery in Hobe Sound, FL.
