Ms. Patricia Jean Thompson, "Pat", 73 of Stuart, FL passed away at Martin Memorial Medical Center in Stuart, FL on February 4, 2011. She was born in Stuart to the parents of the late Arthur and Pender Gibson-Thompson. She graduated from Stuart Training School and was employed before retirement as a school custodian. Along with her parents, "Pat" was also preceded in death by a husband, Willie James; children, Cedric Hall, Karen Ruffin and Linda James; and 14 siblings. She leaves behind to cherish her precious memory: 4 daughters, Teresa "Ann" Boatwright (Samuel) of Stone Mountain, GA, Darlene James, Audrey Jones (Benny Salery) and Lillie Mae Brown (Corey Williams), all of Stuart, FL; a sister, Mary Thomas of Stuart, FL; a brother, Richard Thompson of Columbus. GA; 29 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild to be born later this month. Services: Visitation will be held on Friday, February 11, 2011 from 4pm-7pm at Thorne's Mortuary Chapel in Stuart. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 12, 2011 at 11am, Port Salerno Church of God. Burial will follow at New Monrovia Cemetery in Port Salerno, FL.
