Olivia Juanette Robinson-Smith, 58 of Hollywood, FL went home to be with the Lord at Kindred Hospital in Hollywood, FL. She was born in Fort Lauderdale, FL to the parents of James Arthur Robinson and the late Ella Mae Robinson. Olivia was educated in the public schools of Broward County and graduated from South Broward High School in Hollywood, FL in the Class of 1974. She was a member of the Hallandale Church of God where she served faithfully as a member of the Praise Team, Choir #2, Women of Glory Choir, Women's Discipleship, YLM Counselor, VP of the YLM, and co-chairperson of the Church Anniversary Observance. Olivia was a beautiful easy going individual, who had the smile of an angel, a devoted wife and mother. Along with her mother, she was also preceded in death by her brother, Lamar Arthur Robinson; father-in-law, Vernon Smith; maternal grandparents, Carther and Julia Cason. Remaining to cherish her precious memories are: a loving husband, John Sherman Smith of Hollywood, FL; devoted daughters, Tajuana Vertez Smith and Shermeka LaTisha Smith, both of Hollywood, FL; her father, James Arthur Robinson of Hallandale, FL; mother-in-law, Daisy Bell Anderson Smith of Hollywood, FL; sisters, Eleanor Franklin (Calvin) of Hollywood, FL, Elga Wallace (Bishop Quintin) of Sanford, FL, Janice Robinson of Hollywood, FL and Ardesta Richardson (Ferman) of Tallahasse, FL; and a host of other relatives including nieces, nephews, cousins, godchildren, neighbors church family and friends. Services: Visitation will be held at Greater Hallandale Church of God from 5pm-9pm on Friday, February 28, 2015 a homegoing celebration will be held on Saturday, February 28, 2015, 11am at Faith Deliverance Cathedral-3051 N 24th Avenue, Hollywood, FL. She will await the resurrection at Hallandale Beach Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted into the care of Thorne's Mortuary in Stuart, FL.
