Obituary for Norman Theron McFadden

Norman Theron McFadden of Stuart, FL went home to be with the Lord at Cleveland Clinic-North on February 25, 2021.

He was born on May 2, 1954, in New Zion, South Carolina and is the eldest son of 3 children born to the late
Ida Mae McFadden. Along with his mother, he was reared with the help of his grandfather, Willie McFadden.

Norman graduated from Ribault High School in Jacksonville, FL from the Lockhart Drive neighborhood, where many knew him as “Bean”.

He was employed by Jacksonville Navy Shipyard for 10 years and later moved to Hobe Sound, FL, where he was gainfully employed at Jupiter Island Club for 25 years as a Grounds Manger. He later met the love of his life, Sharon McFadden and were united in holy matrimony for over 30 years.

Deacon Norman T. McFadden was a member of Glory Evangelistic Pentecostal Church for 25 years where he served as a deacon and later was formally licensed as deacon.

He served as a "Faithful Steward", attending many services, even if he had to go by himself. He was known for the way he would get so excited about the word of God and say, “Hey”. He was truly connected to the vine which was one of his favorite scriptures.

Deacon McFadden loved spending time with his grandchildren, playing games, making bike ramps and so much more. He truly, truly, loved them and his entire family.

Deacon Norman McFadden leaves to cherish hid precious memories: his wife Sharon A. McFadden; 2 sons, Lavern T. McClain (Kimberly) and Loucious McClain; 5 grandchildren, Christine Hobbs, Kristian Hobbs, Jeremiah McClain, Nasya McClain and Emmanuel McClain; brothers, Alvin Brown and Brent McFadden;
aunts/nephews, Phillip McFadden (Jay), Samuel McFadden (Constance), Doris McFadden of Jacksonville, FL, and Mary McFadden (Solomon) of Hobe Sound, FL; brothers-in-law, Charles McClain (Brenda) Robert McClain, Margaret Palmer and Evangelist Hazel Bernard; special nieces/nephews, Matt Butler, Tara McFad- den, Solomon Harris, Marvin McClain, and Eddie Pertilla; and a host of other nieces, nephews, family mem-
bers, and church family whom he absolutely loved.
