Mr. Newton Mowatt, aka "Tony" passed away quietly at his residence April 3, 2018.  He was born on March 18, 1949 in Hanover, Jamacia. After moving to the United States, he was employed as a jockey, he rode and trained horses.  He became a quadriplegic after being thrown from a horse. He was a resident of Indiantown, FL  and will be remembered as a loving, giving and person.  Tony will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. Newton Mowatt is from a member of a very large family who lives in Jamacia and the United States. Services:  Visitation:  By request of the deceased, there will be no public viewing. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, April 12, at Thorne's Mortuary Chapel in Stuart at 7:30pm. Arrangements have been entrusted into the care of Thorne's Mortuary.
