Obituary for Mother Vera Mae Salery

Mother Vera Salery, 89 of Jupiter, FL went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 22, 2022 (5:40 am) at Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center in Palm Beach Gardens, FL.

She was born in Montgomery, AL to the parents of the late Benjamin and the late Goldebell Howard. Her primary education was completed in Alabama.

Mother Salery moved to Florida (Palm Beach County), from Montgomery, AL in 1969 with her husband and children. She was a member of Faith Holy Temple Evangelistic Church in Riviera Beach, FL. She was a beautiful person inside and out. Being fashionably correct, she loved to dress and coordinated her outfits "to the tee", from head to toe. She was an extremely hard worker, working in the domestic industry for private home owners.

She loved her children and grandchildren unconditionally. They were the apple of her eye!

Along will her parents, Benjamin and Goldebell Howard, Mother Salery was also preceded in death by: her children, Oliver Ben Salery and Reginald Johnny O'Neal Salery; and her siblings, Nora Livingstone, Willie "Charlie" Howard, Lee Grant Howard, Annie B. Owens, Ola Mae Pearson, and Fannie Bell Howard; mother and father in-law, Drucilla Butler Salery and Cleophas Salery, Sr., and other in-laws.

Remaining behind to mourn her passing, as well as celebrate her homegoing are: her children, Oliver Ben Salery(now deceased, Eileen), Roger Lee Salery, Vera Mae Thomas, Benny Lee Salery, Reginald Johnny O'neal Salery (now deceased), Frances, Gerald Wayne Salery, Donna Yvette Edwards, Kelvin Clark Salery and Ronald Aubrey Salery; 20 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren; one sibling, Ellen Pearl Featherstone; several in-laws and a host of nieces, nephew, cousins and a plethora of other family members and friends who will certainly miss her.
