Obituary for Mattie Julia Epps-Inman Pastor

Pastor Mattie Julia Epps-Inman, 71, of Hobe Sound, FL went home to be with the Lord at her residence on Monday, December 28, 2015. She was born in Lake City, SC to the parentage of the late Joshua and Lucille Graham Epps. Mattie was the pastor of Prayer Deliverance Outreach Ministry for Jesus, Inc. in Hobe Sound. She was also a volunteer for the Banner Lake Food Drive. Along with her parents, Pastor Inman was also preceded in death by: her husband, Charles Benjamin Inman; 3 sisters, Pecola Epps-Cameron, Rutha Lee Epps and Luzenne Epps. She leaves behind to cherish sweet memories: a son, Carlton B. Inman of Hobe Sound, FL; brothers, Eddie Lewis Epps of Baltimore, MD, Jay Paul Epps (Kathy) of Lake City, SC, Kenneth R. Epps (Lorry) of Pleasant Valley, CA, Scott L. Epps of Spartanburg, NC and Sterling Daniels of Kingstree, SC; sisters, Margie Epps, Yvonne Scott of Florence, SC, Mary Ann Epps and Pandora Epps, both of Atlanta, GA and Arnell Kithcart (Norman) of Florence, SC; and a host of other relatives including nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbors, church family and loving friends. Services: Visitation will be held on Friday, January 1, 2016 from 6pm-8pm at Peaceful Valley C.M.E. Church in Hobe Sound. A homegoing celebration will be observed on Saturday, January 2, 2016, 11am at New Allen Temple A.M.E. Church in Hobe Sound, FL. Pastor Mattie Julia Epps-Inman will await the resurrection at Florida Memorial Cemetery (Banner Lake) in Hobe Sound. Arrangements have been entrusted into the care of Thorne's Mortuary.
