Obituary for Mary Samuel Wilson (Samuel)

Mary S. Wilson, 72 of Fort Pierce, FL and formerly Okeechobee, FL passed away peacefully at Central Florida Regional Hospital in Sanford, FL on March 21, 2021.

She was born in Girard, GA to the parents of Junior and Ida Mae Odom on April 10, 1949.

She loved God with all of her heart and trusted Him to supply her every need. Mary was always a hard worker. She loved people and would always help you out in any way that she could. Her only beloved son Roger, was the apple of her eye

Mary was preceded in death by: her parents, Junior Samuel and Hattie Mae Odom Samuel; brothers, Lee Samuel, Charlie Samuel, Willie Samuel, and John Fuzz; and her loving sister, Martha Samuel Portee.

Those left to cherish her memories are: her son Roger Lee Samuel and his wife Beatrice; brothers, RL Samuel of Arizona; Johnny Mixon and his wife Mary of Okeechobee, Florida; her sister, Mayliza Singletary of Brooklyn, New York; grandchildren, Rodger Lee Samuel II, Caylissa Anaya Burke, Destiny Harris, Shermona Santos; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends who will miss her dearly.

Services: Visitation will beheld on Friday, April 9, 2021 at Thorne's Mortuary in Stuart, FL from 5pm-7pm. A Graveside Service of Praise and Thanksgiving will be held on Saturday, April 10th at 11am, Port Mayaca Cemetery, Canal Point, FL.

Arrangements have been entrusted into the care of Thorne's Mortuary in Stuart, FL.
