Mary Helen Tolbert-Rice, 66, of Okeechobee, FL went home to be with the Lord at Raulerson Hospital in Okeechobee. She was born in Cuthbert, GA to the parents of Charlie Morris and Bertha Mae Perry-Tolbert. Mary was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church where she served as the church decorator and choir member. She was preceded in death by her father Charlie Morris Tolbert; godmother, Rosa Williams and aunt, Minnie Robinson. Survivors include: her husband, Billy G. Rice of Okeechobee; 2 sons, Dexter Rice-Tolbert of Okeechobee and Jimmy Gary (Cathie) of Bronx, NY; 4 daughters, Regana Agnew (Thomas) of West Palm Beach, FL, Regina Peterson (Tyrone), Sheila Neal (Eddie) and Bertheia Smith (Quinton), all of Okeechobee; stepchildren, Maeola Williams (John) of Palm Bay, FL, Earnest Daniels of Miami, FL, John Young (Keisha) of San Antonio, TX, Calvin Brown of Philadelphia, PA, Sherita Sampson of Phoenix, AZ, Minnie Cooks (Calvin) of Port St. Lucie, FL, Belinda Gary of West Palm Beach, FL, Chanda Gousby of Bradenton, FL; mother, Bertha Mae Perry-Tolbert of Okeechobee; brother, Billy Jordan (Geraldine) of Jacksonville, FL, sister, Mary Moses (Marlon) of Indiantown, FL; mothers-in-law, Thelma Rice of Oakland, CA and Mary Kilpatrick of Okeechobee, FL; grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins; brothers and sisters-in-law, godchildren, other relatives and a host of friends. Services; Visitation will be held on Friday, July 11, 2014 at Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Okeechobee. A homegoing celebration will be held on Saturday, July 12, 2014 at First Baptist Church 4th Street in Okeechobee. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Okeechobee.
