Mrs. Mary Perkins, 74 of Port Saint Lucie, FL went home to be with the Lord, in the comfort of her home surrounded by the love of her caring family. She was an only child born in Edison, GA to the parents of the Willie C. Harvin and Annie Lee Baldwin-Harvin. Before retirement, she was employed as a manager for a photography company. She was a member of Mount Calvary Missionary Baptist Church in Stuart, FL and served as a deaconess before her health failed. She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie C. and Annie Lee Perkins; her husband Samuel L. Perkins and a son, Vincent Keith Perkins. Survivors include: a caring son, Dennis Perkins (Bonni) of Montclair, NJ: loving daughters, Vannesa Perkins of Port St. Lucie, FL, Joanne Perkins-Faniel(Clarence) of Caldwell, NJ. Services: Visitation will be held at Thorne's Mortuary Chapel in Stuart on Tuesday, June 14, 2011 from 4pm-7pm. A Homegoing Celebration will be held on Friday, June 17, 2011 - 12:00 noon at Perry Funeral Home Chapel in Newark, NJ. Burial will be by her husband in Bayview Cemetery, Jersey City, NJ.
