Obituary for Mary Lee McIntyre

Mary McIntyre, 60 a resident of Port St. Lucie, FL and former Stuart, FL resident, passed away at Treasure Coast Hospice in Stuart.  She was born in Ocala, FL to he parents of the late Columbus Pittman and the late Ruby Joiner. She attended the public schools of Ocala and graduated from Vanguard High School in Ocala. Before living in Stuart, she was a resident of Indiantown, FL and was a member of New Life Ministries in Indiantown under the leadership of Pastor Hurley Dunbar.  There she served as a member of the usher board.  She was employed as a paraprofessional at Anderson Middle School in Stuart, FL where she enjoyed working with children, with special needs. She was preceded in death  by her parents and left behind to remember her sweet personality and precious memories are: her husband, James McIntyre, Sr.; 2 sons, Darius Thurston of West Palm Beach, FL and James McIntyre, Jr. of Port St. Lucie, FL; 2 twin daughters, Kimberli Harrington (Stephen) of Greenacres, FL and Kelli McGahee (Riccardo) of Port St. Lucie, FL; 2 brothers, Michael Joiner of Alabama and Daniel Joiner of Williston, FL; 4 sisters, Bernita Hawkins, Cleo Joiner, Annie King and Tillie Joiner all of Williston, FL; one granddaughter, Janiyah Chambliss of  Port St. Lucie, FL; and a host of other relatives including in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who will miss her dearly. Services:  Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 25, 2017 at Thorne's Mortuary Chapel from 1pm-2pm.  A celebration of life will begin 2pm at the chapel. Arrangements have been entrusted into the care of Thorne's Mortuary in Stuart, FL.
