Marvin McCreary, 40, a former resident of Stuart and graduate of Martin County High School (Class of 1985), died in South Carolina on May 25, 2008. He was born on June 13, 1967 in South Carolina to Marion and Catherine McCreary. As an infant, he moved to Stuart, FL with his family. He moved back to Barnwell, SC in the year 2000 and was employed as a truck driver. Marvin was preceded in death by his father, Marion McCreary. Survivors include: his wife, Stacey McCreary; daughters, Aiesha, Arinna and Alexis McCreary, all of Barnwell; mother and stepfather, Catherine McCreary Burkhalter and Elder George Burkhalter of Blacksville, SC; brothers, Marion Bernard McCreary(Sharyl) of Stuart, FL, Linell MCcreary of Charleston, SC, Maurice McCreary of Barnwell, SC, Nicholas Sanders of Allendale, SC and Brandon Sanders of Columbia, SC. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 31, 2008 at Macedonia Baptist Church in Blacksville, SC at 1:00pm.
