Obituary for Martha Lee Brown-Brewster

Martha Lee Brown-Brewster, 60, of Hobe Sound, FL died at Martin Memorial Hospital-North. She was born in Hobe Sound to the parents of the late Jake Brown, Sr. and the late Creola Ezell-Brown. Martha attended the public schools of Martin County including Stuart Training School. She was employed as a receptionist for Green Dollar Sod in Hobe Sound. In 1983 she met and married Vernon Brewster. Along with her parents, she was also preceded in death by a sister, Minerva Thomas. Left behind to cherish her sweet memories are: a husband, Vernon Brewster; a brother, Jake Brown, Jr.; two devoted sisters, Margaret Harris and Delia Brown, all of Hobe Sound, FL; a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends, including a special friend, Frederick Trimbley of Hobe Sound, FL. Services: Visitation will be held on Friday, January 29, from 4pm-7pm at Thorne's Mortuary Chapel in Stuart, FL. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, January 30, 2010, 11:00am at New Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Hobe Sound, FL where Reverend David George is pastor and Minister James Webb officiating. Burial will follow at Banner Lake Cemetery in Hobe Sound. Arrangements have been entrusted into the care of Thorne's Mortuary of Stuart. Please sign the guest book.
