Obituary for Mark Bryant Jr.

Mr. Mark Bryant, Jr. 74, of Port St. Lucie, FL died on Thursday, May 1, 2008 in West Palm Beach, FL. He was born to the parents of the late Mark Bryant, Sr. and Eleanor Green-Bryant in Boston, MA. Mr. Bryant attended the public schools of Boston and graduated from Boston English High School in the Class of 1952. He received an Associates of Science Degree in Human Services Technology from Indian River Community College in Ft. Pierce in 1991 and a Bachelor of Liberal Studies Degree from Barry University in 1995. He was a resident of Port St. Lucie for 21 yrs. moving from Boston. Mr. Bryant was a member of the Lake Street Church of Christ in Stuart. He was self-employed as a Master Plumber. He served in the United States Army and was honorably discharged in 1955. Along with his parents, he was also preceded in death by a brother, Franklin Bryant. Survivors include: a loving and devoted wife of 24 years, Ingrid Hall-Bryant of Port St. Lucie, FL; caring children, Mark Bryant, III and Nicholas Anthony Bryant of Port St. Lucie, FL, Nicole Antonette Bryant of Orlando, FL and LaQuana Gillcrest Bryant of Boston, MA; two brothers, David Bryant of Quincy, MA and Melvin Bryant of Monrovia, CA; two sisters, Beverly Zachary Abollah (William) of Springfield, MA and Justine Jones of Baltimore, MD; a special nephew, Kenneth Bryant and Family of Fayetteville, GA; an adored aunt, Carrye Devone of Port St. Lucie, FL; special in-laws, Mr. & Mrs. John Hall of Stuart, FL; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and friends. There will be no public viewing and funeral services are private. Thorne's Mortuary, Inc. of Stuart is in charge of arrangements.
