Obituary for Marion Verdell "Toot-Toot" Lewis

Ms. Marion Verdell Lewis, 59 of Stuart, FL, went home to be with the Lord at Cleveland Clinic-Martin Memorial Hospital South on September 14, 2019 at 6:02pm.
She was born on November 5, 1959 in Pompano Beach, FL to the loving parents of Elder Dr. David Lee Lewis, Sr. and Mother Annie Ruth Lewis. She was educated in the pubic schools of Martin County and graduated from Martin County High School in the Class of 1977. Marion was affectionately known as "Toot-Toot" by her family.
She was employed as a phlebotomist at Martin Memorial Hospital in Stuart, FL now known as Cleveland Clinic-Martin Memorial Hospital.
Marion was very friendly and easy to love.  She had a smile that would lighten up your darkest day. She was loved by her family and without question, she loved her family immensely.
She leaves to mourn her passing and celebrate her homegoing: 2 loving sons, Lorenzo Bolt and Collin Sherwood both of Stuart, FL; devoted parents, Elder Dr. David Lee and Mother Annie Ruth Lewis, Sr. of Stuart, FL; 5 caring brothers, David Lee (Bonnie) of Crestview, FL, Elder Garrick L. Lewis, Sr. (Belinda) of Port St. Lucie, FL, Edward Lewis (YoSandra) of Fort Walton, FL, Frederick Lewis (Sabrina) of Savannah, GA, and Herbert Mouton (Dawn) of Port St. Lucie, FL; 2 loving sisters, Ruth Phillip (Fitzroy) of Fort Lauderdale, FL and Lillian Lewis of Stuart, FL; godchildren, Adell Miller, Rashawnda Clark, Latonia McCollister and Victor; godmother, Gladys Lampkin of Stuart, FL; godsister, Yolanda Lampkin and godbrothers, Espy Lampkin and Brian Lampkin; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbors and dear friends who will miss her dearly.
Marion will await the resurrection at New Monrovia Cemetery in Port Salerno, FL.
