Obituary for Margaret "Maggie" McClain-Molo Missionary

Mrs. Margaret "Maggie" McClain-Molo, 79 of Rome, NY, went home to be with the Lord in the peace, quietness and comfort of her home on August 3, 2015. She was born on August 2, 1936 to the late James McClain, Sr. and the late Willie Mae Jones-McClain in Hobe Sound, FL. She was educated in the public schools of Martin County and graduated from Martin County High School in the class of 1954. She was a member of First Tabernacle of Rome, NY where she served faithfully on the Missionary Board, Noon Day Prayer Group and the Young People's Bible Institute. She will lovingly be remembered as a devoted wife of 49 years, loving mother and grandmother. Along with her parents, she was also preceded in death by: a sister, Mary McClain-Cooksey; 4 brothers, James "Pete" McClain, Sr., Booker T. McClain, Glenn McClain and Larry McClain. Remaining to cherish her sweet memories forever are: her devoted husband, Warren Molo of Rome, NY; children, Shelia McClain of Rome, NY and Ricki McClain (Yvonne) of Newport News, VA; 5 grandchildren; 5 sisters, Pastor Lucille y. Mason of Riviera Beach, FL, Evangelist Hazel Hazel Bernard of Hobe Sound, FL, Missionary Pearl Hudson (James) of Stamford, CT, Margaret Palmer of Hyattsville, MD and Sharon McFadden (Norman) of Port Salerno, FL; 4 brothers, Charles McClain (Brenda) of Fort Pierce, FL, David McClain (Margaret) of Austin, TX, Robert McClain of Stamford, CT and Allen McClain of Hobe Sound, FL; 2 sisters-in-law, Elizabeth "Tinymae" McClain and Francis McClain (Renea) of Hobe Sound, FL; brother-in-law, Willie Cooksey of Hobe Sound, FL; god-child, Cecelia Harris of Hobe Sound, FL; and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, other in-laws, church family and friends. Visitation: Saturday, August 8, 2015, 11:30am at New Allen Temple A.M.E. Church in Hobe Sound, FL. A Celebration of Life will begin at 1:00pm at the church with Reverend Charlie McClain/ Officiating and Reverend I.F. Mitchell is Host/Pastor. Burial will follow at Florida Memorial Cemetery (Banner Lake), Hobe Sound. Out of town arrangements were by Strong and Burns Funeral Home in Rome, NY. Local arrangements have been entrusted in the care of Thorne's Mortuary.
