Obituary for Mance Cornelius Wobbleton Jr.

Mance Cornelius Wobbleton, Jr. 34 of Apopka, FL and a former resident of Stuart, FL passed away at Florida Hospital in Altamonte Springs, FL. He was born to the parents of the late Reverend Mance Cornelius Wobbleton, Sr. and Patricia Ann Carter-Wobbleton in Stuart, FL. Mance was educated in the Martin County School District public schools and graduated from Martin County High School in the Class of 1999. He received a certificate in early childhood education from Lively Technical College in Tallahassee, FL. He was a member of the Stuart Church of God. Mance was gainfully employed in the childcare industry, but after the death of his father, he operated Wobbleton and Son's Lawn Maintenance until his health failed. He will always be remembered as a tall "giant lovable teddy bear", who was always smiling and full of humor. Along with his father Reverend Mance Cornelius Wobbleton, Sr., he was also preceded in death by his paternal-grandfather, Ernest Wobbleton and his maternal-grandmother, Rozenia Carter. Survivors include: 2 sons, Jeremiah and Zion Wobbleton; a devoted mother, Patricia Ann Wobbleton of Orlando, FL; sisters, Tangela Campbell (Sean) of Apopka, FL, Bria Wobbleton of Orlando, FL and Rosetta Koonce of Tallahassee, FL; paternal-grandmother, Mary Ann Wobbleton of Stuart, FL; maternal-grandfather, Marvin Carter of Stuart, FL; 6 aunts, Zettie Wobbleton, Peggy Peterson (Fred Sr.), Marnetta Thomas, Dolly Weaver (David), Odessa Wobbleton and Marlet Carter, all of Stuart, FL; 4 uncles, Reverend Johnny Wobbleton (Robin), Irving King, Marvin Carter, and Mack Wobbleton, all of Stuart, FL; 2 nieces, Macey and Morgan Campbell of Apopka, FL; 3 nephews, Eric North Dakota and Daquan Bess of Tallahassee, FL; a godson, Ryan Johnson of Port St. Lucie, FL; 2 godmothers, Minnie Ray Jackson and Ora Brown of Stuart, FL; and a host of other relatives including loving cousins, church family and friends. Services: Visitation will be held on Friday, January 2, 2015 from 4pm-7pm at Thorne's Mortuary Chapel and a celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 3, 2015-11am at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 2450 SE Ocean Blvd in Stuart, FL. Burial will follow at Fernhill Memorial Gardens in Stuart. Arrangements have been entrusted into the care of Thorne's Mortuary in Stuart, FL.
