Obituary for Mack Derek Wobbleton

Mack Wobbleton, 49 of Stuart, FL, affectionately known as "Fletcher", went home to be with the Lord at Martin Memorial Health System-North in Stuart. He was born in Blountstown, FL to the parents of Ernest Cornelius Wobbleton and Mary Ann Battles-Wobbleton. He moved to Stuart, FL with his family in 1973 from Blountstown. He attended the public schools of Calhoun and Martin County, then graduated from Martin County High School in the Class of 1985. Mack was a non-instructional employee of the Martin County School District. He was a member of the Jensen Beach Church of God in Jensen Beach, FL. "Fletcher" was known as a "gentle giant" who possessed a quiet, peacefull and meek spirit. His personality was that of humility and calm. Like his father (now deceased), he loved his mother dearly, and saw to it that the needs of the house were taken care of, so that she would not have anything to worry about needlessly. Mack loved sports and while a student at Martin County High School he was a football manager. A staunch Dallas Cowboys fan, he always encouraged children who loved sports to stick with. Because their success was determined by how they played the game, Mack encouraged them to be a "good sport" and to always show good sportsmanship. A lot of young people and children were moved to tears upon learning of his death. Mack Derek Wobbleton, was preceded in death by his father, Deacon Ernest Cornelius Wobbleton; maternal grandparents, John and Mary Battles; paternal grandparents, John Wobbleton and Roxie Davis; three brothers, Reverend Mance Wobbleton, Sr. (Patricia), John Wobbleton and Willie James Wobbleton; a nephew, Mance Wobbleton, Jr. Surviving to cherish precious memories of his life are: a devoted and loving mother, Mother Mary Ann Wobbleton of Stuart, FL; a caring brother, Reverend Johnny Wobbleton (Reverend Robin); four dear sisters, Zettie Wobbleton of Hobe Sound, FL, Peggy Peterson (Minister Fred), Dolly Weaver (David) and Odessa Wobbleton, all of Stuart, FL; 10 special nieces and 8 special nephews; a great-nephew that was dear to his heart, Keontaye Lloyd; uncles, Herbert C.
