Obituary for Loyal Cester Wiley Sr.

Loyal Cester Wiley, Sr. (AKA: Wyly), 75 of Hobe Sound, FL passed away on Jupiter Island in Hobe Sound. He was born in Riviera Beach, FL to the parents of Loyal Dolan Wyly and Nannie C. Houser-Wyly. Loyal was educated in the public schools of Palm Beach County. He was a member of New Allen Temple AME Church in Hobe Sound and was employed by the Johnson family on Jupiter Island as a landscaper. Mr. Wiley was preceded in death by his parents, Loyal Dolan and Nannie C. Houser-Wyly; 6 brothers, Cornelius, Earl, Charles, Carey, Willie and James Wyly; and 3 sisters, Idell Chandler, Gensie Wyly and Yvonne Ford. Survivors include: 5 sons, Loyal Cester Wiley, Jr. (Mary) of Stuart, FL, Loyal Cester Wiley, Jr. (Virginia) of Pompano Beach, FL, Freddy Wiley (Cherlene) of Port St. Lucie, FL, Wayne Wiley, Sr. of Hobe Sound, FL and Kendrick Wyly of Riviera Beach, FL; 9 daughters, Maggie E. Wiley of Jupiter, FL, Velma Leger (Belly) of Green Acres, FL, Linda Wiley of Hobe Sound, FL, Renee Wiley of West Palm Beach, FL, Yolanda Rector (Egan) of Tampa, FL, Kwana Wyly of Riviera Beach, FL, Nannie C. Nieves and Charlotte Holsendorff of Jupiter, FL, and Jacqueline Donaldson of Port St. Lucie, FL; 2 sisters, Carrie Belle Wyly of Tallahassee, FL and Faye Regina Strickland of Port St. Lucie, FL; 39 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Services: Visitation will be held on Friday, October 15, 2010 at New Allen Temple AME Church from 4pm-7pm. A celebration of life will be held 3:pm at the church on Saturday, October 16, 2010. Burial and dove release will follow at Banner Lake Cemetery in Hobe Sound, FL. Arrangements have been entrusted into the professional care of Thorne's Mortuary in Stuart, FL.
