Obituary for Lorenzo Arlington Robinson Reverend

Reverend Lorenzo Arlington Robinson, 67, went home to be with the Lord at Martin Memorial Hospital-North in Stuart, FL. He was born in Stuart, FL to the parents of the late Charlie Henry Robinson and the late Elizabeth Williams-Robinson. Reverend Robinson was educated in the public schools of Martin County. He was a member and associate minister at St. Paul A.M.E. Church in Stuart, FL. Reverend Robinson was employed in construction and was a coach with the special Olympics. He will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved him. Along with his parents, Reverend Robinson was also preceded in death by 2 brothers, Reverend Charles Robinson and William Robinson and 2 sisters, Chenesta Robinson and Joy Washington. He leaves behind to mourn his passing, cherish his precious memories as well as celebrate his homegoing: his wife, Bertha Robinson; a son, Jermaine Walker of Stuart, FL; a daughter, Monique Walker of Port St. Lucie, FL; a brother, Ray Washington of Port Salerno, FL; sisters, Maxine Long, Debra Langston, Mary Josie, and Ailene Garmon, all of Stuart, FL, Henrietta Taylor of Miami Gardens, FL, Clara Hall of Tallahassee, FL, and Diane Robinson of Lake Worth, FL; and a host of other relatives including, nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbors, friends, co-workers and church family. Services: Visitation will be held on Friday, September 19, 2014 from 5pm-7pm at St. Paul A.M.E. Church in Stuart, FL. A homegoing celebration will be held on Saturday, September 20, 2014, 11am at the church with the pastor, Reverend James C. Watson, Jr. officiating. Reverend Robinson will await the resurrection at the Banner Lake Cemetery in Hobe Sound, FL. Arrangements have been entrusted into the care of Thorne's Mortuary in Stuart.
