Obituary for Lillian Wesley

Lillian Wesley, 72, of Stuart, FL quietly went home to be with the Lord in the comfort of her home. She was born in Wabasso, FL to the parents of the late James Wesley, Sr. and the late Susie Mae Miller-Wesley. Lillian attended the public schools of Martin County, FL and graduated from Stuart Training School (STS) in the Class of 1957. Lillian was employed with Southeastern Printing for over 20yrs. and later retired as a toll worker for the State of Florida after 17 years of employment. She was a member of Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church in Stuart and served faithfully as a Usher Board member and in any capacity where needed. Survivors include: a daughter, Chandra E. Taylor aka "Chammie" of Stuart, FL; 3 brothers, David Moore of Syracuse, NY, J. Edward Wesley (Annette) of Port Salerno, FL and Clarence Wesley of Orlando, FL; 2 sisters, Fannie Spence of Port Salerno, FL and Gloria Wesley of Stuart, FL; a granddaughter, Jakiya Raanana Lavon Taylor of Stuart, FL and a step-granddaughter, Jacinta C. Scott of Port St. Lucie, FL; 4 step-great-grandchildren; 4 godchildren, Shonda Tolliver (Ernest) of Pompano Beach, FL, Kamela Ames (Larry) and Bobbie Dennis, of Port St. Lucie, FL and Atty. Anton Smith of Palm Beach Gardens, FL; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, church family, neighbors and friends. Services: Visitation will be held on Friday, April 6, 2012 at Thorne's Mortuary Chapel from 4pm-7pm. A homegoing Celebration will be held at Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church in Stuart at 4:00pm.
