Leroy Myers, 66 of Vero Beach, FL and former resident of Stuart, FL passed away at Indian River Medical Center in Vero Beach, FL on Tuesday, September 10, 2018. He was born to the parents of the late Henry Myers and the late Anna Johnson Myers on October 3, 1951 in Mayesville, SC. During his lifetime he was self-employed in lawn maintenance as a tree trimmer. He leaves behind to recall fond memories: a son , Tremayne Myers (Tscharnia) of Jensen Beach, FL, 5   daughters , Velencia Hills of Vero Beach, FL, Tonya Myers and Nekessa Shanks of Stuart, FL, Miracle Thomas of Port St. Lucie, FL and Awana Kinder (Harvey) of West Palm Beach, FL; a brother , Herbert Myers (Shirley) of Mayesville, SC; 4 sisters , Deloris Titus and Rosetta Plowden (Robert) of Mayesville, SC, Henrietta Myers and Janice Myers of Sumter, SC; other relatives including 15 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren , nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Services: Visitation will be held on Friday, September 14, 2018 from 5pm-7pm at Thorne's Mortuary Chapel in Stuart, FL. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 15, 2018 at the chapel, with Elder Jerry Gore pastor of the Pentecostal Church of God in Christ in Stuart, FL officiating. Arrangements have been entrusted into the care of Thorne's Mortuary in Stuart, FL.
