On Friday, February 26, 2021, LaKeya Alicia Christie, 42 of Stuart, FL, peacefully slept away from this life, to forever be with her Lord and Savior in the comfort of her home.
She was born in Stuart, FL to the parents of Ronald Christie and Greta Tyson on May 3, 1978.
LaKeya, a special angel, won the hearts of all who had the pleasure of knowing her and was blessed and highly favored by God, to be with us much longer than medical science could have ever predict! To God be the glory!
She had big beautiful eyes, long curly hair, and a pleasant disposition( which spoke volumes of her contentment), and was evident in the best care that her parents provided for her, throughout her life.
LaKeya was preceded in death by: her maternal grandparents, Whitely and Ethel Tyson; her paternal grandparents, Thomas Allen and Mary Christie; 2 cousins, James Tyson and Ryan Smith; and other relatives including aunts and uncles,
She is lovingly survived by: her loving father, Ronald Christie of Port St. Lucie, FL; her devoted mother, Greta Tyson of Stuart, FL; sisters, Jacqueline Graham of Stuart, FL and LaKetra Chick (Delveri) of Melbourne, FL;
3 nieces, Idoni Williams of Stuart, FL, Yiannia Chick and Nakoa Chick of Melbourne, FL; 2 nephews, Sheldon Williams, Jr. and Ikon Williams of Stuart, FL; and a host of other friends of the family who will miss her dearly.
Arrangements have been entrusted into the care of Thorne's Mortuary in Stuart, FL.
