Infant Kodey Drakaar Johnson, Jr., just 16 days old of Stuart, FL, died at St. Mary's Medical Center on April 13, 2009 in West Palm Beach, FL. He was born to the parents of Keonia Shaquina Coats and Kodey Drakaar Johnson, Sr. at St. Mary's. Kodey was preceded in death by his maternal great-grandfathers, Silas Warren and Louis Carter. Survivors include: his parents Keonia Shaquina Coats and Kodey Drakaar Johnson, Sr. of Stuart; maternal grandparents, Ada & Vincent Smith of Stuart, Keith Coats, Sr. of Stuart, FL; paternal grandparents, Katrina & Alriet Wright of Charlotte, NC and Kevin Lee & Rochelle Johnson, Sr. of Orlando; maternal great-grandparents, Betty Carter of Stuart and Reverend Charles and Carolyn Coats, Sr. of Indiantown; paternal great-grandparents, Willie Mae Maize of Stuart, Cecil & Terry Lee of Tazewell, VA; aunts, Shakicia Warren of Stuart, Breanna & Kierra Coats of Port St. Lucie; uncles, Keith Coats, Jr. of Indiantown, Justin Simpson of Riviera Beach, Jamal; & Jamel Pearson of Port St. Lucie, Kurtis & Kyle Coats of Stuart, Kevin Johnson, Jr. and Kedric Wright of Charlotte, NC; a host of cousins (including special cousins), Dennis Palmer and Jahzhara Harris of Stuart and many family friends. Services: Visitation will be held on Friday, April 24, 2009 from 9:30am-11am at Thorne's Mortuary Chapel in Stuart. A service of memory will be held on Friday at 11:00am. Burial will follow at Fernhill Memorial Gardens in Stuart. Thorne's Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
