Obituary for Johnny Lee "Radio" Helms
Johnny Helms, 53 AKA, "Radio", of Indiantown, FL passed away at Martin Memorial Health System South.
He was born in Opa Locka, FL on June 25, 1965 to the parents of the late Roosevelt Holmes and Claretha George.
Johnny was educated in the Tampa, FL public schools and graduated from King High School.
He worked in lawn care and will always be remembered for his hard work and possessing a big beautiful smile.
"Radio" was always polite, kind and respectful, and would do whatever was in his power to "help you out".
He will be sorely missed by those who knew and loved him best: 5 sisters, Dorothy White (Cleveland) of Indiantown,FL, Thelma Holmes and Shannon Holmes both of Tampa, FL, Felicia Ann Holmes of Indiantown, and Clara Blue of Ft. Myers, FL; 2 brothers, Charles Holmes of Indiantown, FL and Lorenzo Holmes (Tamicka) of Jupiter, FL; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and loving friends who will certainly miss hin
Services: Viewing will be held on Saturday, May 17, 2019, at Mount Zion Missionary Baptist in Indiantown from 11am-12am. A service of memory will begin 12 noon at the church with Pastor George Palmer, officiating.
Arrangements have been entrusted into the care of Thorne's Mortuary in Stuart, FL.
