Obituary for Johnny Bee Harris Sr.
Johnny Bee Harris, Sr., 64 of Tampa, FL (and formerly Fort Pierce and Indiantown, FL) passed away peacefully at his residence.
He was born in Clarksdale, Mississippi to he parents of the late Realius Harris and Dorothy Lee Wilson on July 3, 1956. During his life time he was gainfully employed as an automotive mechanic. He served his country in the United States Army and was honorably discharged on June 22, 1978.
Along with his parents, he was also preceded in death by the love of his life, Betty Chandler and leaves behind to cherish his precious memories: daughter, Ruthy Hurst (his caregiver and surrogate) of Riverview, FL and Shontay Branch (Jason) of Riviera Beach, FL; sons, Johnny Bee Harris, Jr. of Sylva, NC and Slater Baker of Indiantown, FL; brothers, David Harris, Sr. (Shonda), Charles Harris and Alvin Vaughn, all of Fort Pierce, FL; a sister, Dorothy Lee Adams (Joshua) of Moore Haven, FL; 13 grandchildren; and a host of other relatives including, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and neighbors who will dearly miss him.
