Jermaine Houston Wilkins, Sr., 42 of Indiantown, FL (also known as "Sense Daddy and Rude Boi"), died at his residence. He was born in Stuart, FL to the parents of W.L. Wilkins, Sr. and the late Rosemary Johnson. Jermaine was educated in the public schools of Martin County, FL and was employed as a landscaper. He was preceded in death by his mother Rosemary Johnson; and brothers, Willie Wilkins, Jr., Michael J. Wilkins and a sister, Debra Carrington. Jermaine loved reggae music and life filled with a Jamaican flavor. He leaves behind to cherish his precious memory: a special companion, Akina Breland; sons, Jeremy Wilkins of Stuart, FL, Jermaine H. Wilkins, Jr., and Lavarius Hampton, all of Jensen Beach, FL; daughters, Larissa Wilkins (Felix) of Indiantown, FL, Jeronda Wilkins (Juan) of Stuart, FL, Jakia Wilkins of Georgia, Malia Plummer of Stuart, FL and Jada Wilkins of Fort Pierce, FL; his father, W.L. Wilkins, Sr. of Indiantown, FL; brothers, W.L. Wilkins, Jr. (LaKundria) and Anthony Wilkins of Clarksville, MS, Alexander Wilkins of Fort Pierce, FL, Robert Vaughn (Regina) of Port St. Lucie, FL, Jerome Johnson of Indiana, Corderian Bell (Tangela), Derrick Wilkins, Greg Wilkins, and L.C. Wilkins, all of Indiantown, FL and James White, Jr. of Port St. Lucie, FL; sisters, Sarah Wren, Charlene Calhoun, and Natoya Cunningham (Burnat Martin), all of Stuart, FL, Krystal Portee, Olivia Wilkins, April Wilkins, Josephine (Juan) Servin, Shynique Wilkins all of Indiantown, FL Bernell Adamson and Latrena Adamson of Port St. Lucie, FL, Courtney Wilkins of Clarksdale, MS,Lashunda Davila and Lashanna Boyton of Tampa, FL; 6 grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Services: Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 4, 2015 from 10am-11am at Evergreen First Baptist Church in Indiantown, FL. A funeral service will begin 11am, at the church. Burial will follow at Port Mayaca Cemetery in Canal Point, FL. Arrangements have been entrusted into the care of Thorne's Mortuary in Stuart.
