Obituary for James Howard

James Howard, a 60 year old resident of Stuart, FL died at Salerno Bay Manor on June 18, 2009. He was born in Blackville, SC to the parents of James Harley and Ineis Cannon. Mr. Howard was educated in the public schools of Martin County and attended Martin County High School in Stuart. Before he became disabled, he was employed as a construction laborer. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Horace Howard and a sister, Rose Howard. Survivors include: his loving and devoted companion, Mary Wilson of Stuart; 6 sons, Anthony E. Wilson (Rosetta) of Port Saint Lucie, FL; James Howard, Jr., Horriese Howard (Lindsey), Michael J. Howard, Jason T. Howard and Tevin T. Wilson, all of Stuart; 4 sisters, Geneva B. Howard and Willen B. Howard of Fort Pierce, FL, Minnie Wilson of Stuart and Annie Ruth Howard of Tampa, FL; 3 brothers, Henry B. Howard (Christina) of Philadelphia, PA, Lorenzo Howard of Okeechobee, FL and Jimmie Howard (Catherine) of Jacksonville, FL; 10 grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. Services: Visitation will be held on Friday, July 10, 2009 from 5pm-7pm and from 10:00am until 11:00am, at Thorne's Mortuary Chapel in Stuart, FL. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, July 11, 2009 at 11:00am at the chapel with Elder Patrick Silas, officiating. Thorne's Mortuary, Inc. is in charge.
