Genevieve J. Decuir, 68 a resident of Port St. Lucie, FL and former resident of New Iberia, LA went home to be with the Lord on September 24, 2010 at St. Lucie Medical Center in Port St. Lucie, FL. She was born in St. Martinville, LA to the parents of the late Herman Jones and Zoway Flugence Jones and educated in the public schools of St. Martin Parish. Genevieve has been a resident of Port St. Lucie for 2 years moving from Louisiana. Along with her parents, she now joins in glory her husband, Charles Joseph Decuir, Sr. and leaves into God's care: a son, Charles Joseph Decuir, Jr. of New Iberia, LA; 2 daughters, Charlene D. Marshall (Rudolph Lilly) of Port St. Lucie, FL and Jeanette Decuir also of New Iberia, LA. She will await the resurrection at St. Matthew Cemetery in New Iberia, LA. Services: Visitation and funeral service will be held in New Iberia, LA on Sunday, October 3, 2010 at 7:00pm.
