Obituary for Fredrick Paul McColister

Fredrick Paul McColister affectionately known as, "Freddie B.", formerlly of Port Salerno, FL passed away in Lake Butler, FL on Sunday, July 2, 2023.

Freddie B. McColister, was born on September 22, 1965, in Stuart, Florida to the late Frank and Bloneva McColister.

The fourth of five children, Fred, obtained his education in Martin County.

The cornerstone of Fred’s faith, which was laid in Bethlehem Baptist Church was deeply personal, and his spiritual journey was a unique expression of his connection to the divine as he was known to say, “God go me”.

Fred loved playing baseball, was a construction worker by profession and was a fun-loving jokester with a genuine love for people.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. McColister, maternal grandparents, John T. and Julia Stone and parents Frank and Bloneva McColister.

He leaves to cherish his memories son Jermaine, daughter, and siblings: Ben McColister, Jefferey McColister, June McColister, and Sonja McColister, as well as nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

As we bid farewell to Fred in this physical realm, let us find comfort in knowing that his eternal journey has just begun. May his soul be embraced by divine grace, and may his legacy of kindness, and love be forever imprinted upon our hearts.
