Obituary for Eva Louise Douglas Combs Minister

Minister Eva Louise Douglas Combs, 69 of Stuart, FL went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 17, 2012 at Martin Memorial Medical Center in Stuart, FL. She was born in Church Hill, MD and moved to Martin County, FL from Maryland 29 years ago. She graduated from Martin County Vocational Schools in 1989, North Technical Education Center in Riviera Beach, FL in 1991, and Webster College (Fort Pierce, FL) 1995. She was a member of The American Registry of Medical Assistants, and was certified in Adult/Child/Infants CPR and Basic First Aid. She was gainfully employed as a certified nursing assistant in private duty. She was a member of Faith Temple COG, Inc. in Indiantown, FL and served as one of its ministers and Sunday School teachers. Minister Combs was preceded in death by her father, James Douglas. She is survived by: a son, James Rochester; her mother, Eleanore Virginia Daniels; and a brother, William Allen Daniels, all of Church Hill, MD; 2 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives including nieces, nephews, cousins church family and sorrowing friends. Services: Visitation Tuesday, January 24, 2012 from 5pm-6pm at Thorne's Mortuary Chapel. A Celebration of Life will begin at 6:00pm at the chapel with her pastor, Bishop Daniel Thomas Weaver, Sr. officiating. Arrangements have be entrusted into the care of Thorne's Mortuary in Stuart.
