Equian Young, 67 of Stuart, FL passed away peacefully at Martin Memorial Health System-South in Stuart. She was born in Crystal Springs, Mississippi to the parents of Harrison Young and Corine Massey Young. She has been a Stuart resident for 4 years moving from Pahokee, FL. Esquian was a member of the Second Chance Church of God in Stuart, FL and was employed as a bus driver for the Palm Beach County School District. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James Johnson; and a granddaughter, Debra Jessie. Survivors include: sons, Larry Young of Pahokee, FL, Contilious Young (Tammy) of Port Salerno, FL, James Johnson, Jr. and Albert Johnson both of Stuart, FL; daughters, Angela Young of Pahokee, FL and Pamela Johnson of Stuart, FL; sisters, Essie Brown, Mary Millard and Marl Young of Jackson, Mississippi; 25 grandchildren and a host of other relatives including nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Services: Visitation will be held at Thorne's Mortuary Chapel from 5pm-7pm on Friday, March 18, 2016. A home going celebration will be held on Saturday, March 19, 2016 at 3:00pm. Arrangements have been entrusted into the care of Thorne's Mortuary in Stuart.
