Elfreda Clark Campbell, 83, a resident of Stuart, went home to be with the Lord at Martin Nursing and Restorative Care Center in Stuart. She was born to the parents of the late Sylvester Clark and the late Jennie Mae ("Ma Jennie") Holloway Clark in Stuart. She attended the public schools of Martin County and graduated from Stuart Training School. Before retirement she was employed with the Martin County School Board as a bus driver. Along with her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Joe Campbell, Sr.; son, Ralph Douglas Clark; grandson, Ronald A. Davis, Jr.; granddaughter, Portia Davis; sisters, May Margaret Delancy and Eutha Lee Clark; stepson, Joe Campbell, Jr. Survivors include; a son, Ronald A. Davis (Alice) of Stuart, FL; a sister, Floretta Williams of Waycross, GA; uncle, O. C. Holloway; aunt, Queen Holloway Bozeman of Stuart, FL; 3 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren; a host of nieces,nephews, cousins other relatives and friends. Services: Visitation will be held on Friday, May 6, 2011 from 4pm-7pm at Thorne's Mortuay Chapel. Homegoing Celebration will be held on Saturday, May 7, 2011 at 1pm at St. Paul A.M.E. Chapel in Stuart. Burial will follow at Fernhill Memorial Gardens in Stuart. Arrangements are by Thorne's Mortuary in Stuart. Please sign the guest book.
